think it’s only worse to you bc you can see. If all you ever know is blindness how can you miss what you don’t know. That’s just your life as sad as it is or maybe it’s not sad.

I think deaf is the easy answer tbh. We all love music and that part would be cool but I’m not giving up sight. U lose way way way more daily function with blindness. Cant even run fast, can’t ride a bike, can’t shop, can’t see people, can’t watch tv

despite how horrific losing my hearing would be, if i was suddenly deaf i could still live a life that mostly resembles mine now and be self sufficient
almost every single aspect of my life would be drastically worsened by going blind

Both would be really debilitating for sure but I choose to keep vision as I find it a more essential sense even though both are essential
