Now you know why we didn’t always include people in the listenings

It’s not that we didn’t want them to join, it’s that not everyone could join at the time and it’s impossible to coordinate for everyone’s schedule.

That’s why when I do show y’all the new album, imma set a date and time 2 weeks in advance so people can plan if they want to join.

The issue at that time was that you were dissing people that wanted to join but missed a few sessions

It’s funny cause there’s mad times when there’s like 15 people posting simultaneously for hours but somehow suddenly busy whenever there’s a thing planned

Only one I messed with was Nort because he skipped ahead cuz of Purrp

I got frustrated with y’all and said a couple things in the heat of the moment that got screenshotted that I regret. I never wanted to discriminate against people joining. That was the bottom line.

Being apart of a listening session isn’t the same as posting on the side. There’s a reason 15 people will be on here and 3-4 people will actually listen to an album together. Not everyone can join at once. Do you go ahead without them or delay the session to the point nothing happens to be “fair”?

I think 2 things can be true at once

Our little music club of me, Purrp, OP and Nort did get a little cliquey and that was the wrong way to go about it, it didn’t feel inclusive and probably alienated some people. We should’ve gone about that differently.

Listenings in general are not inherently democratic if we’re going down a list and if someone can’t make it because of scheduling, demonizing that same group for it is the wrong way to go about it as well.

Bowie sessions 2.0. were being planned and now the sessions argument 2.0. following it up
