NortI love how sparingly Lynch used surrealism. You’d enjoy a nice normal episode or two where nothing strange happens, and then when it does it hits super hard and you’re reminded how Lynch was of a different world.
the third to last episode in the second season is crazy. multiple times throughout the episode it’ll cut to a random character getting a hand tremor for a second or two and cut away like nothing happened it was just such a “oh f*** something is happening soon oh gd f***” moment

U know how u thought bane was the one who climbed out of the pit? Silly viewer. Bane was in the pit but it was a girl who climbed out. Bane got out later with a ladder and also the girl is the daughter of the villain from Batman 1

like the first time we’re introduced to the red room. s*** just happens, coops telling people about this weird experience and everyone just shrugs their shoulders and we move on.
then we’re just back to a regular mystery drama lol for the next few episodes.

I only got into 2-3 episodes of The Return until I got sidetracked. I’m planning to finish it once Im done with Sopranos.
