I get what you’re saying but I think the problem you run into is that there’s nothing distinguishing a mixtape from an album if we’re to go by your logic. It’s become a semantical convo now, but I’d probably argue that mixtapes are just a dated concept and it doesn’t make the most sense in my brain to broaden the definition to where “album” and “mixtape” become conflated.
