Nah I mean as much as some stoners like to pretend weed isn’t a d***, it is and some people can get mentally addicted to the feeling
Although I have alot of self control with marijuana and have no problem not smoking, there was a period I was bored and anxious during the lockdowns in 2020 and I got addicted to doing edibles everyday for like 2 months straight.
S*** changed me as a person forever.

also weight gain from it, nothing crazy just like 15 lbs heavier than i would be otherwise
never had a period where i just weaned off it, i more just went from smoking daily still to never smoking
