because you understood the caveat to my point and wanted a gotcha moment and then tried to gaslight me into believing I brought up a potential implication for no reason, as if that wasnt the exact thing you were trying to imply.
it was a ben shapiro debate bro gotcha attempt maneuver
Absolutely not.
You said that nobody should be judged or made to feel bad for how they want to be identified as. I agreed. Then, you said that you wouldn’t question a guy who’s genital preference is p**** for identifying as straight.
And I simply asked if you would judge that same guy for instead identifying as gay?
And the reason I asked that is because I felt that you were kind of twisting yourself into a pretzel to make that statement. But I wasn’t certain. Meaning outwardly you were trying to speak generally (EVERYONE should be respected) but internally you were only really concerned about trans people (not EVERYONE) when having the discussion.
Your reaction to my question just confirmed that it was the second thing and not the first thing. While I was coming from the perspective of the first thing the entire time we were talking prior to that. I wasn’t trying to say “gotcha”. I was just looking for clarification/confirmation on where you were coming from.
It’s like I’m saying “if you like d***, you’re not straight” but what you’re hearing me say is “trans women aren’t women”. The two statements aren’t related at all to each other unless you make them be. But if I’m saying the first thing and you’re hearing the second thing, it makes sense why we weren’t on the same page in our discussion.
Ain’t reading allat 🤣🤣
You did tho
Absolutely not.
