And everytime it has gotten worse for young people lol

Do u think the age of going independent has gotten up because the "new generation" is lazy and cant do chores too

It’s quite literally not worse for most young people. Most “young people” have parents who are Gen X or even Boomers who actually did have long periods of economic wealth. Millennials are the only “young people” that are currently self-dependent, as a generalization of the generation. Obviously doesn’t apply to every person.

I mean, again, take the original example. Which is Bruises story. These 3 kids have jobs. They fail to complete easy tasks and then complain when it’s pointed out. What does that have to do with the global economy? Those are personality traits.

Bruises is literally from the same generation as them just older

18 year olds ten years ago werent so much better like u tryna say

Bruises is an individual. Most people in Bruises age are also lazy with no work ethic. But comparing across generations, it has progressively gotten worse by all possible metrics.

If I hire a person who’s 35, almost 100% of the time they are going to be a solid team player. If I hire a person who is 25, it’s legitimately 30-40% of the time.

kids are entering the workforce knowing that paycheck isn’t gonna do much for them, the world is gonna be on fire and they’ll most likely never own a house or retire

sure, but the world of today is doing less and less to facilitate that behavior.

I think people who face more hardship than modern Americans still continued to work hard even if they felt as though they deserved more

    Why do you work?

when I worked remote I discovered what would be the most time efficient ways to get s*** done so I could make music on my laptop

now, im working at this gas station until i get this certification and some experience in IT to pursue a career in that

You agreed to work a job knowing what you would be paid and signed up for specific responsibilities

Not holding your end is weak and it proves you are an immature person

yeah but that’s not how young americans are generally feeling these days and there’s reasons for it (namely, economic) that extend past “laziness” .

I don't think there is a justification beyond laziness for accepting a job at a certain pay and then deciding you don't want to actually do it once you have the job

because I’d be wasting time if I got fired from this job and had to look for another

I got goals laid out within a certain time frame

now if I was coming out of highschool and this was my first job Id definitely care less abt it

Its really not and u really are wrong

U are basing that the new generations are lazier on personal experiences and a sistematic belief when all the data and studies point at this being wrong
