not a gorillaz fan huh?

yesterday was the day i found out nerd fans don’t really listen 2 gorillaz on here & it made me very sad

Never got to listen to them extensively, but I guess this is the perfect time to do it now.

All the gorillaz fans at university were b****es all the nerd fans are always laid back goats.

i feel like both bands made somewhat similar music, so it really surprised me 2 see nerd fans not being appreciative of the gorillaz & not even knowing their music like that, like really surprised me

i’m not 2 sure how it would be listening 2 their music 4 the first time this late cuz that nostalgia is crazy with their music, at least 4 me anyway

Their music is totally different from each other. I've never even compared or thought of them together until yesterday. I don't even know who randomly pit them against each other. Nostalgia plays a part in our appreciation but timeless music doesn't have to rely on it. I'm sure there's kids barely getting into NERD that are experiencing the same rush.

I've never found their music to be similar. They're both in their own lane but I'll revisit Demon Days today and see for myself. Plastic Beach was the last Gorillaz album I listened to.
