I think of them more as a 90s pop punk forefather band than like a 2000s nostalgia band like how they are currently viewed on the internet

I feel like they were able to do both rowdy and fun, and also withdrawn and mellow really well, which is one of the things that set them apart

Yeah they have good songs that are both but like when they started to exit the fun pop punk direction a bit they got really mid so I prefer them staying closer to that lane
