basically i got laid off and applied to the nearest place hiring — happened to be a gas station / icecream place

been working their a month and 1/2, they just made me assistant manager

also been configuring linux for the past couple weeks and thats been fun. lot of nerding out.

me and my gf both have moments where we’re like “i just wanna chill by myself rn” and the other person goes in the other room. Very healthy practice. it’s nice to have alone time.

Hit and miss

I can do it but I’m not perfect at all and there’s words I just have crazy hard times pronouncing even reading. Sometimes it’s relatively simple ones too like the other day I got tongue tired with educación lmao

Will be okay with more steady practice I just haven’t set like big blocks of time to it. I will say it’s hard to get more complex things across and at the first hint of that kinda thought I start trying to 1:1 translate rather than let it flow which is not correct

I guess bc I only have two free days a week she be tryna plan s*** but I for one am a vibes based activity person I wait till like the day before or day of to decide if I’m doing something and I also wanna keep my options open Incase I wanna do something else. I kinda hate feeling I owe all my free time to someone
