Because there is no guarantee that those embryos would survive. Maybe their mom dies in the hospital fire? Maybe they’ve been abandoned long ago? I have no context for the situation. But the newborn baby does not need anything else to survive at that point so it would be my choice
what if the newborns mom died in the hospital fire? what if they were abandoned shortly after they were born? the baby still needs provided for to survive too in-terms of feeding them.

Nobody would choose to randomly implant someone’s embryo into themselves especially one that was dropped off randomly at a hospital without any documentation. Morals aren’t based on some random scenario where you try to corner some logic, that’s the entire point

Let me flip this scenario on you. You have the same jar of embryos and a newborn baby. You have a crystal ball and show me the future. The 15 embryos in the jar and the newborn baby all grow up to be wonderful people with families. I would choose the jar.
