I’m not really as big of a fan because they were so Mike Love dominated vocally and he doesn’t have a great voice
i think his voice fits really well with the group. if it was just his voice it would be different but its a really nice contrast
plus in the group harmony his part is incredible just like the rest ofc
Mike Love voice is honestly kinda weird in the grand scheme of things. Like who sounds anything like him
also the occasional standout moments in a different style from him like All I Wanna Do or Meant for You

i remember my first ever listening of this album when my piano teacher told me to listen to it if i wanted nice harmonies and ambiguous sounding chords and the moment the strings come in on this second verse i remember reaching a pure state of bliss and it just "hit me"
