My problem isn’t that he’s playing it safe. Theres projects I enjoy that I would classify as safe. My problem with this project is that it’s going out of its way to be boring. Like it takes pride in it. It’s not very often you hear an album that feels like it was created for the purpose of background noise.

It’s not about the BPMS, I don’t mind slower sounding music
This album has weak ass songwriting, the songs don’t really progress beyond what is introduced and all the different songs bleed together in the worst way possible

It’s not about the BPMS, I don’t mind slower sounding music
This album has weak ass songwriting, the songs don’t really progress beyond what is introduced and all the different songs bleed together in the worst way possible
the songs are mostly short for that reason
and yeah, theyre cohesive because they all use a similar sonic palette. what seperates them is the musical idea. Like Two Long isn’t the same song as Daisies.
