i was trying to explain to my mom how dating apps are the other week and she's so innocent and thinks way too highly of men/women on the apps
I feel like current gen weaponized therapy speak as a way to be s***ty as f*** to eachother in all facets of life especially dating with no accountability under the guise of accountability

There was this girl I dated briefly for like a month in high school, very brief, very innocent and childish. We broke up and stopped talking. She was in 8th grade, I was a freshmen in HS.
She comes back a year later to HS and joins my friend group. At first it was awkward, but then we started walking home together from the bus and just hanging out more. Eventually these feelings grew and people were like "y'all got amazing chemistry, y'all should date" and I was like "Nah I dont wanna ruin the friendship", but eventually hormones and genuine love got the best of me and I asked her out and she immediately said yes.
2 months later, we're broken up and ive lost my friend
