yeah, many people take their religions a la carte which is fine, whatever.

How I see it is, how you think is more important than what you think, and fallacious thinking may be harmless in one area but can permeate into another where it may be more harmful to oneself or others.

I also think there can be a comfort in believing you know what the meaning of life is and what will happen after we die, questions which i'm only capable of either making up the answers for myself or maybe never knowing the answer to but that's just how I'm wired.. but I think that comes with its own benefits.
