Yes salt and pepper for a few minutes and it’s done. It’s basically a ready made meal.

Whereas with tofu, when I make it, I have to take it out, drain it with a press, cut it into cubes, marinate it, then either bake or air fry it, and make a sauce for it on top of it. There’s different levels of effort here. I mean, sure, you could just throw soggy tofu on a frying pan and then eat it but that’s not a realistic way to enjoy life.

I make tofu all the time. I love it. But it’s nowhere near as easy as just grilling a burger. And it gets even more time consuming when you move to lentils and stuff.

It means both sides have valid arguments that they have strong beliefs in so it becomes a never ending debate

I respect vegans/vegetarians moral/ethical stance on animal cruelty even tho i participate in animal consumption

A) fundamentally disagree with them but don't want to come across bad for saying it

B) you agree with them but don't want to admit you are lazy
