I'm not saying you should offer grace to people committing genocide just based on being nice

I'm saying I just don't think it's beneficial to bash a very famous and beloved recently deceased person in a thread full of potential non zionists that could feel a way about people doing that

I don't think it's the best look or the best tactic for getting people who are potentially less aware to look into or support your movement

It feels more like attention seeking/rage baiting

Yes, which is why I take active measures to negate these things to the greatest extent that I can as an individual by being a principled and highly externalized member of my community and socialist organization

And at the end of the day, I’m here as a refugee from Afghanistan. I have no home to go back to because of these things. How can you hold my residence against me when I can’t even go back to my childhood home?

I’m not holding your residence against you. I just think you can hold anybody accountable for being complacent with something off a personal jaded external view.

For example, do you think, say a homeless German in 1942 eating scraps on the street and fighting for their lives was a Nazi because they weren’t part of an underground resistance movement?

An extreme example, of course, but the human experience is more complex than external judgement usually acknowledges.
