I think we severely underestimate the power of the human mind when it comes to healthcare, despite having basically all of the information to prove it.

It may be much better to treat people for an illness without ever telling them that they have an illness or what you’re treating them for. I think the mental burden of knowing you have an illness worsens the underlying condition.
