A big part of what makes people a fan of an artist is the relatability factor and seeing the human side of them. Even someone as corporate and sanitized as Sabrina Carpenter for example has a human factor to her image that attracts people.

A.I pop doesn’t have that. There’s no uniqueness or anything remotely relatable about it. It looks and sounds like a CEO typing into a prompt, because it is. Timbo released a snippet of a song from his new “A.I Artist” and it literally sounded like a diet Tyla/Jhene Akio. People will never gravitate towards something that corporate upfront.

I’ve seen some oldheads gravitate towards it, because they’re still bitter that they were wrong about autotune and they think this is another case of that. But autotune has always strictly been a creative tool. A creative tool that can be misused, but a tool nonetheless. It’s not a tool that can be used entirely by itself without the human factor involved.
