What are your thoughts on Deep?

I mean it was my first solo song released since October 2022, and there was a tinge of nervousness with dropping it since its my first release off the new album, sort of setting the stage for what's to come. But it was a song that clicked for me during production. I had worked on a couple other songs intended for that slot on the album and it just wasn't working, I felt like I was forcing it. With "Deep", I wasn't. It was an important puzzle piece In the grand scheme. Giving people the first taste of what is to be a very personal and introspective project.

I think your vocals are too pillowy. I'm not sure if that's just how you sound or if it's mixed to make them sound that way. They need a little more bite to them.

The beat is too busy during your verses and you get lost in it a bit, partially because of the soft vocals. During the chorus the beat sounds like what it should be during the verses.

The drums are polished and punchy but bland. I think overall the beat could use more character.

Your rapping is good though and the chorus is catchy
