Nah Ringo is underrated as a drummer if anything

Bro played his role in the Beatles perfectly and had a really nice style of playing. Being overly technical and flashy doesn’t make you a great drummer, being able to understand what the song needs and delivering it to a tee is what makes you a great drummer.

And Ringo could go off as a drummer when he wanted.

Rain, Tomorrow Never Knows, Helter Skelter, Come Together, The End etc.

i dont know drumming that much but a lot of dusty youtube drum guys always say hes a good drummer. likes hes just not just some bum that was lucky to be in the band. but obviously hes not a virtuoso jazz drummer or anything either
