Funny enough

I applied for a job at a music store. Like a guitar center type store.

Was super excited about that one. Went in with a resume and cover letter. Applied online after being told to do so.

Timeline is, I went inside the store and wanted to speak to the manager, but couldn’t because he was in a meeting. Sales associate took the résumé and cover letter, told me he liked me and would recommend me for an interview after I applied online.

Called back a couple days later and asked if the manager had gotten to it yet, sales associate told me he would and he’d been busy lately

NEVER GOT A CALL BACK.

Idk if this is true, maybe if you never had to work and all your needs were met by someone else. But, I think people would still contribute to the community. Still be firefighters, etc.

i used to think the same but then i realized doing something like data science for spotify or whatever is actually kinda harmful to music lowkey so i feel like i probably wouldnt want to do that. only thing id want is ethnomusicology or music history or something. which would require getting more degrees lol
