Like a Virgin still a classic. but its my least favorite from her prime albums. as she grew more it just becomes apparent that Like a Virgin has the least distinct shift in sound
including Into the Groove def takes it up a notch though. and we also gotta listen to Crazy for You which is from the era, her first ballad and one of my favs from her

fun fact they didnt put her on the single cover partially because they wanted to play up to racial ambiguity since that music scene was heavy latino/black
Madonna always insisted on working with and surrounding herself (dancers etc.) with LGBT and racially diverse people cuz that was where she came from
its more taken for granted now but having videos with all multiracial dance groups, different race love interest, gay imagery different back then hit different

I knew it was someonestill love it though for sure, like id give it a solid 8.5/10 and say it has 4 perfect pop songs on it.
then if you include Into the Groove (international release) it def takes up a notch and might rise in my ranking but i dont think of it as part of the album
