The absolute worst is when they only follow a script and are too lazy/dumb to do anything else.

I had a round trip international flight booked a year or so ago and I noticed that my name on the online ticket had the second letter Capitalized so instead of extraterrestrial, it was eXtraterrestrial.

Normally I wouldn’t care but reading online, people said that they might not let me in cause it doesn’t match the passport exactly.

So I called the airline to fix it, and I swear to you, the person spent an hour telling me I would have to cancel and rebook the entire the flight (where seats were $2000 more expensive now to do that) or they couldn’t do anything. I hung up and spoke to a second person who said the same thing.

The third person I spoke to fixed it in 10 seconds.
