Not necessarily. Let’s say you at the grocery store and you like “damn idk if I’m out by now” you could log on to say “instacart” (who has 100s of partnerships with grocery stores and billions of rows of data) and have it say “you likely have expired chicken and milk based off your last purchase date”.

FWIW I don’t think this is a billion dollar idea but I think it could be a quick retention piece for an app like instacart or maybe your local grocery store if they have an app or delivery service.

Breakable weapons and the minimalist music fit the experience imo

But yeah the shrines are definitely repetitive and the dungeons are forgettable

Now if you're not trying to 100% the shrines, I think they serve their purpose well. Explore the world, stumble across one, do a lil puzzle and get a reward.

The real meat of the game for me is the exploration. I went in completely blind so discovering everything was a blast, the dungeons are optional anyway and I never felt like I had to do em until I felt like it. Idk its just something about having free reign to do whatever you want in a gigantic Hyrule just does it for me.

But if you're looking for a good core Zelda experience, BOTW is not the way to go. I'm probably looking at it through rose tinted glasses because I haven't played it in forever, and I was just enamored with how different it was from other Zelda entries at the time.

I mean so why is it better to you

Dungeons actually resemble what they should've been tho still not great. Shrines are more interesting but only slightly. World progression was cool to witness. Wayyyy better side quests. Bosses smack botw's into the dirt. Story has more emotion in it. Companions are enjoyable.

Ye lol it’s not that hard.

I guess what i was more so going for is that there’s always a “scrappy” way to start until you prove value and then you can do the crazy “let’s build a fridge and partner with 100 companies”

    Also true

Do you think the over pussification and use of therapy speak is f***ing with child raising

I mean I don’t ever hit my kids and I was definitely beaten frequently as a kid. But it feels wrong to me to hit a small child, idk, intrinsically.

I don’t see a problem at all with beating your 16 year old kid though. So it depends.

It’s a hard question to answer. I definitely don’t believe in the “everyone’s special” mentality and think every kid should be nurtured to their strengths instead of told they’re great at everything even when they’re not.

But at the same time, bullying and discrimination and s*** is a real issue that needs to be continuously addressed and prevented for kids . It’s hard to find a balance.

Half of instacarts valuation is probably the data lake they have on purchase.

A company like that would be shooting themselves in the head to not store every tiny action a customer takes on the app.
