Yep and he does a really good job he essentially goes for a super goofy silver age style it's really one of the more interesting superhero films in terms of direction.

If you like the action in Malignant that style really starts in Aquaman he really went crazy with the 150 million budget they gave him its a lot of crazy scenes

The only reason to watch them tbh

In malignant it was different because that movie is bipolar

It’s also visually one of the best period and pretty underrated on that front. Looks really great underwater

I think Aquaman might stand out for you it's not really done like most action movies and it's more an adventure movie like say Brendon Fraser Mummy movies

Yeah it's an all timer comic book movie for me off the visuals alone it's really rare a film is able to do what it does and feel like the medium brought into live action.

It feels closer to a comic book than a lot of Snyders stuff which straight up rips from the pages
