I don’t think he deserved to die for his rhetoric alone. The brutality of it was messed up.

But I also am not gonna act like it’s a great person we lost. Dude had some absolutely revolting rhetoric that people defended as expression of the first amendment. Dude himself said gun violence should happen for the sake of maintaining the second amendment. If he isn’t hypocritical, I would imagine he’d still feel this way regardless if he was the victim or not.
