Like no he wasn't just shot for having a controversial opinion
He was actively trying to use his influence to spread those opinions and make an impact that could be pretty bad
I still don't think he deserved to be shot necessarily and I think murder is wrong but like also I don't feel bad for him
hosting debates is going to be a sizable thorn for this theory when presented to the not chronically online
