The EU is proposing a bill that would make your device scan all of your private messages before they are encrypted; this would work by using AI to scan all your messages and photos, wherein for "professional secrecy reason" EU politicians would be exempt. This is mass surveillance on an unprecedented level. Back in June 2024 the bill was withdrawn due to public pushback, following consensus this would go into effect this October.

I really want a switch I bought one before and returned it, it’s just the price of the games is actually so crazy I can’t justify it.
Like it’s one thing when some crazy open world GTA6 game comes out and it’s $100 but Nintendo would re release Wii Golf on the switch let you play as Mario and charge you $100.
