17 base is a big upgrade over a 13 pro still.
People gotta stop comparing the brand new phones against each other and compare what you have now vs what you might get.
17 base performs on par with a 16 pro. Without a doubt a 16 pro outperforms the 13 pro.
Not like beefing with you but it’s a common sentiment I’ve been seeing from friends this week.
All three cameras are 48mp now tho idk. I def get the sentiment that you really could just get the base this year but then again
I could also get the pro

For sure. I think a lot of people were hoping apple would drop a flagship phone in a mini package.
I know we had this convo already but I think the mini’s sold bad bc of bad marketing and the fact they are weaker phones idk

Yeah I get it. For me I had the 14 pro and knew like any phone in the line up would be a big upgrade. Originally I was set on the base 17. Hard to beat that as a package for $1,000.
But once I saw the air and held it I was like this feels special and at the end of the day any new iPhone purchase is a luxury purchase not a necessity, so I figured the air felt the most “luxurious”. So I guess in a way I’m thinking the same way as you.

Pro Max was the first to sell out at my local store. Orange impossible to get for any pro. Air not doing super hot apparently.
