Tbh what u are saying its totally true
But if u upgrading might as well like go out and get the pro model and make that s*** last till iPhone 23
Nothing bad about investing a bit more so u can make it last 1 or 2 year more
Yeah I do understand that perspective
17 base is a big upgrade over a 13 pro still.
People gotta stop comparing the brand new phones against each other and compare what you have now vs what you might get.
17 base performs on par with a 16 pro. Without a doubt a 16 pro outperforms the 13 pro.
Not like beefing with you but it’s a common sentiment I’ve been seeing from friends this week.
All three cameras are 48mp now tho idk. I def get the sentiment that you really could just get the base this year but then again
I could also get the pro
Less screen = bad
God forbid..
God forbid..
It's the truth
I want my phone as big as possible
For sure. I think a lot of people were hoping apple would drop a flagship phone in a mini package.
I know we had this convo already but I think the mini’s sold bad bc of bad marketing and the fact they are weaker phones idk

Yeah I get it. For me I had the 14 pro and knew like any phone in the line up would be a big upgrade. Originally I was set on the base 17. Hard to beat that as a package for $1,000.
But once I saw the air and held it I was like this feels special and at the end of the day any new iPhone purchase is a luxury purchase not a necessity, so I figured the air felt the most “luxurious”. So I guess in a way I’m thinking the same way as you.

Oh I don’t agree

A phone weighting 500 grams less felt more luxurious
Pro Max was the first to sell out at my local store. Orange impossible to get for any pro. Air not doing super hot apparently.
Just from talking to the apple lady when I was buying mine.
I need a new phone at this point I think
I still got an iPhone 12 mini
Buy pro 17 instead of studio time

Greatest phone I’ve ever had in my life easily
She told me most people walk in and ask “what’s the most expensive one” and buy that. Crazy eh.
Buy pro 17 instead of studio time
I get my first big check next Tuesday
I’ll be able to start booking studio time weekly and probably have enough with the next paycheck to get a new phone
Oh I don’t agree
Very wrong
Do you not realize your screen will be too small
A phone weighting 500 grams less felt more luxurious
Dude when you see it and hold it in person you’ll get it fr. It’s the first iPhone release that has felt special to me since like the iPhone X
