I wouldn’t go to Chicago during the winter. It’s dead and cold af. Summer is very nice though. There’s some good food and cool bars and stuff but it’s not my favorite city tbh

So the reason I asked this question is because I’ve had two kinda strange encounters at work over the last 2 weeks.

1. The first one was a co worker complaining that her daughter in law was asking her to come over to watch the baby so that she could get her hair done and get a manicure. And I was like, what about the kids dad? And she’s like “oh no he can’t stay with the baby alone”.

And then the second one, was a co worker saying that her sister is in the hospital for 2 weeks so she has to stay with the kids all 2 weeks. And I’m like “oh why is your sisters husband with her all day?” And she’s like “no, he just can’t be with the kids alone”

Meanwhile, I’m here like, I work a full time job and have stayed alone with my kids at every age all the time doing all the s*** for them when I needed to. Like wtf is going on
