While I cannot relate to that factor, I can relate to the pain of confronting trauma passed down through generations. And the way the song managed to tie that concept together and the whole album in a complete bow makes it masterful to me.
It was half a joke but I do think it’s ironic. It wasn’t the cathartic release for me it was for a lot of people, honestly the last couple tracks didn’t hit as much as I’d personally have liked them too but again it’s all opinion

I understand. I think if it emotionally clicked with people, their opinion on the album is going to be greater then someone who listened to it 2-3 times the first 2 weeks it came out, liked it and never revisited it.
