I’m not demeaning doctors because all of that schooling and is a war of attrition but if you can do an easy major and use your electives to take pre reqs so you have a high gpa and grind the mcat and at least get into carribean with a 3.3 or 3.4 wayyy easier to become a doctor

It’s hard to match a good residency from the Caribbean. Only the real top of the class do. And you also still have to pass. Know lots of people who failed for years (in the Caribbean) and then gave up and did something else

Yeah for sure I agree. But it’s also not really fair because becoming a top cod player is more genetics than it is skill. I would say it’s harder to become a top of the line plastic surgeon than it is to become a top cod player

i remember when i was in college doing music there were like 3 levels of people, the average people that just love music and wanna be there, the people trying to strive for something and then the freaks who were all on the path to be worldclass performers and s***, the difference in skill is insane
