But when someone with a medical condition can't work they get government assistance to survive

This is nice in theory but people don’t even like fighting fair fist to fist

Wouldn’t trust that someone would accept the robot loss or that someone wouldn’t just turn the bots on civilians. Sucks tho I agree some decorum to war would be great

the character herself is more interesting in the book but the TV versions pacing of her story is better. so both are just very flawed. partly might be due to the acting tbh. in the show she seems way more high and mighty. and especially cuz they oversimplified some of her stuff more up to a point where it feels like its too much emphasis on the her trying to eradicate slavery out of the goodness of her heart thing. still have no idea what george rr martin was planning for her from the start if anything

I definitely remember very much getting into her story at a point but it (along with pretty much everything) randomly gets mega rushed at one point to push us towards the final two seasons. The show felt like it had another several to go when they announced the end. Hell the night walker s\*\*\* was ONE EPISODE at the end. It should have been a whole season

yeah exactly. criminal records and preventing people from getting jobs only going to worsen addictions by significantly worsening the circumstances of their lives they can barely cope with already.

creates a cycle by taking parents out of households away from their children by being in jail/prison.

traumatizes people in prison since their so inhumane anyway.

other than treating it like a medical issue to save people from the toxic d*** crisis, there needs to be so many complex and diverse social programs to slowly alleviate as many social factors thats contribute to addiction as possible. which is a multi generational scale project.

helping get rid of the stigma of d*** users (the vast majority are normal, high functioning, working people, even if theyre addicts) helps.

Facts like as far as I can tell (n I'm always willing to be educated) that stuff seemed to follow relatively soon later, in the grand scheme of things, and obviously would become what the scene was. It just wasn't it's origins

don't get me wrong, I'm sure plenty of the first wave punks were fine guys with good morals, but there were just as many who wanted to get drunk and fight a vague authority
