im starting to feel that for myself theres not much point in waiting longer to speak im just being lazy and in worse mental state atm

im almost at 500 hours then i was planning to try to change something at that point

once i find a good footy channel i like and can understand in spanish im going to the next level

I mean I got bored of learner and started pushing my bounds. You can kinda push yourself into harder stuff if you want

I watched a few native shows under 1k hours and I was fine tbh

The people who sound the best are often times the ones who didn’t wait a ton to speak. I think waiting makes sense up to a point but a full 1k meh

the methods u guys use to learn languages kills me as an outsider

im learning to play guitar but im gonna spend 1000 hours just listening to the guitar before i touch the instrument

i listen to paintings for 1000 hours and then copy them

If you put 1000 hours into any skill you will improve that’s just how life works

theres this other level of painting and drawing i wanna push myself to but theres a mental block on where to even begin witht the process.
but I also find it kinda funny im drawing out my mind still, if i could show this to myself at 18 i wouldve s*** myself.

but the academic stuff being all in check (still got lots to learn but its pretty far along) is boring me i wanna just make novel things
