Tubeoutis teaching music your full time job? seems like a dream tbh
yeah i wanted to be a performer/recitalist but i don't have the work ethic to play gigs full time, i got burnt out when i was studying so i switched to teaching since i can make more money with way less work
i still do gigs/concerts whenever someone hits me up and i'll always do private things like weddings, parties, work functions but i don't do solo piano shows in concert anymore really ever
the last time i played a classical recital was 2023 and it was in san fran, i did like 8 months of prep for a 45 minute concert and i was only paid about 5k after agent fees and travel expenses
