i think he was doing kinda okay making his solo albums

got some help from his old buddies in Pink Floyd David Gilmour and Roger Waters and some of the other UK early prog music scene guys to help him out on instruments

well technically Gilmour was Syd's replacement in PF and they were only in the band together for like a month or something but they still knew each other well and Gilmour really tried to help him out

pink floyd stans took over the thread and bruises admitted she's down with cheating on her spouse if she ever blows up and becomes famous

this album also one that sinks deeper with more listens though

also its crazy how he sounds like Roger Waters on this song (or instead Waters sounded like him i guess)

If you are a rockstar and you never cheat a single time in my eyes it would be more odd

Only for rockstars not just being famous too

And I said I wouldn't like be excited about it but like I feel like it's just part of being a rockstar probably

from what i read it seems like they treated him well once he got sick. even when they stopped talking they made sure he got his money and stuff

they started out psych+prog too and in similar scene as PF. and they were also part of cantebury scene of prog rock which is amazing. then they gradually changed to full-on jazz fusion
