i got into 3d art during covid and started slowely animating the last twoish years
2d art i suck at now i got f'd up hands so i went to 3d in covid to scratch that itch and its been handy im glad! i do both custom models and also download base assets which i then edit to fit whatever - sketchfab .com (idk if ur hip to it yet) is the very popular one for many modelers/animators from hooby to pro! beyond models theres also good baseline animations and materials there as well, both free and paid.
im very jealous of good 2d artists and 2d digital art lmao thats dope, ive also done clay in highschool both sculpt n wheel, n sometimes paint for fun. these are some of the lil 3d stuff ive released:

Tuneout job era
This crazy
i know, i cant have a gap in my wokr history from graduating any longer so im on the grind now lol
ill be working in a couple months either way, whether its a random bartending gig or this stuff.
but if im working full time itll take me a lot longer to leanr this stuff so i wanna just do it while im home.
its not unusual at all for art grads to take 6 months-1 year off to work on a portfolio!
this was the first time not working or being in school since i graduated high school so I enjoyed it ngl lol

the cube one is my latest, i do these like lil "vignette" loop ones for my music promos
this was the process of the cube

i have a few are complex that are like in shorts formats and two that are for music videos - but i like the lil vignette loops a lot its like making a tiny world slice thats suspended in its own thing, lately i been going for a more "polygonal" type of style that callsback to like old 3d platformer stage pickers and the old 3d magazines of high quality cutout test and ad renders from game assets in their engines.
if u need any help i can try - im not super indepth on the very technical but i can see what i can do!
this is also my personal playlist i keep around for 3d art and animation inspo n tutorials that might also help u out as well, lot of information from the last few i been saving and referencing that will prob explain what i know in more "correct" and percise ways

and then this is a concise playlist from a creator of their own stuff for beginners (they're blender specific but the general knowlegde and term speak + tools are the same, just layout will be different and how to access)
