Its the same situation like with Ole Gunnar. Interim doing good, gets the job, and all goes to s*** and then you start over
Ole didnt do that bad compared to other managers though, i think he got 2nd and 3rd. should have won a trophy yes but Ten Hag and Amorim were worse easily. and some of the football that Ole was playing in the good times were better than the bums after him easily.
its not like it was just a total disaster right away he lasted longer than any manager after fergie

not perfect but i think its the right choice considering the options
I'd be worried that if we switched to another one of the hipster smaller club type managers like Iraola the same thing could happen again as with Ten hag and Amorim with the manager not being ready for the scale of the club. I think Carrick is lower risk and lower reward choice, he's already shown some level of stability and man management that the previous 2 suffered with. and even if hes not like some upcoming tactical genius or whatever he still did show as much as he can in some of those big games even if some games weren't that good
if they got rid of Carrick and brought in someone else that started off next season bad it would genuinely be a disaster, like the club doing the same exact thing over and over
regardless of manager the recruitment in transfer window is very important cuz we have like no squad depth at all that was okay this season cuz we played so little games

the risk is so massive if they appoint someone new and it goes like Amorim though fr
its the ownerships fault to be in this situation anyway for letting Ten Hag continue and then sacking mid season, and then doing exact same with Amorim when both clearly deserved to be sacked in the summer
id take stability over potential to find the next Pep. we're in a situation where the short term goal needs to be consistenet CL placing and maybe some good cup runs and thats it, we've seen that its 100% possible for it to go to s*** and fall to 15th or even worse whats happening to Tottenham this season
