The only way soccer ever becomes a true major sport in the US is if we win the World Cup. I think we'll feel a seismic shift on how soccer is viewed in the US if we can ever pull it off.

The future is bright for US Soccer for sure, kids are actually interested in it. But American Football is so powerful and so ingrained in America that Soccer will always go to the back until people have a reason care.
