    me and a few my friends getting an airbnb starting tomorrow for weekend and been planning it for months. a few people flying

    one friend was flying tonight but texted us and is canceling because his boyfriend's cat died. (boyfriend told him to go anyway)

    am i crazy for thinking thats a bit extra

    im not as big of a pet person as other people admittedly

    and its also in the context of this friend honestly being really flakey especially lately and canceling things a lot sometimes last minute even tho hes one of my best friend

    obviously i wouldnt say anything like that to anyone just wondering if im heartless

    i think its fair how u are feeling specially because its the boyfriend cat

    like if it was their cat i would get but the bf cat? idk i feel u specially with all the other context

    i guess im also not a pet person so im more on ur boat

    hmm well i mean it all depends on their attachment to the pet. Some ppl treat pets as their own kid and it could bother them a lot for something like that.

    Tho if u said they been rlly flakey lately maybe they been goin through some things? Or they might not be feeling your or your friends friendship anymore
