For like 10 years straight, BTS fans manipulated the last.fm charts by making sock puppet accounts and manually feeding millions of plays into the site with third party tools

So for as long as I can remember, every last.fm chart was only BTS stuff

And the last.fm team is fr like 5 people so they never did anything about it

They recently finally fixed it by adding a daily scrobble limit (something like 650 plays?) and switching the charts from total plays to total listeners

BTS fans on twitter were going nuts telling people lastfm was racist and to delete their accounts

bts is already so huge and big why do they need the lastfm charts too 💀💀💀
