I feel like I don't have a good judgement on it because I was a kid/teen during what jumps out to me as "the good times"
Like I felt something shift in 2016/2017 and then 2020/2021
2022 felt like the first truly irredeemable year to me and it's been that way ever since

2022 felt like the first truly irredeemable year to me and it's been that way ever since
I think 2022 is a good call because it was a few years into the decade and nothing of note really happened that you could pinpoint to as being "2020s" culture
