I don’t think selling legally reduces crime that significantly outside of international trafficking.

A. You still have to pay for it/be able to afford it and when it comes to things that you become dependent on, you will still need to acquire the money for it potentially in criminal ways.

B. Street d**** will just be kept cheaper or more potent. Even now with weed, we have a million dispensaries here and people still buy street weed because it’s much cheaper.

even if it was more expensive (which it wouldnt be, making these things would be cheap as dirt) if you subsidized it from the government and weighed the cost fo that compared to the societal cost of having the black market undercut it, then you could easily match it and eliminate the issue
