Yeah that slowed their population a lot, families were aborting daughters bc they wanted sons but now there’s too many men and when they abandoned that law the population growth couldn’t start again. COVID there was actually devastating way worse than it was in the US or Italy. Large percentage of China’s land is uninhabitable too
