oh i meant to type real.

but it is weird!

the binaural beat stuff is strange, but it makes sense sounds have effect on the brain. music basiclaly does that you know. or hearing words spoken by loved ones etc.

Sometimes I'll use a particular IEM or headphone at work for a week or two straight, but if you jump back and forth all the time, it doesn't give you enough time to adjust to the sound differences to really appreciate them. I can only really jump back and forth between headphones/iems I have hundreds of hours on at least

At home I almost exclusively listen to the HD650 and swap out different tubes, just such a nice sounding headphone that plays great with tubes.

I like to buy new IEMs because they've gotten wayyyyyyyyy cheaper than they were a decade ago (the iems I'm listening to rn would probably be 10x more expensive a decade ago, no exaggeration), but I'm probably not gonna buy any new overears until I have enough money to buy a stupid nice pair, because I already like the three I have so much.

You don't have to go as balls deep as me

But I wish people knew that your music could sound like 10x with some wired IEMs that cost half of what airpods pro do

Plus you can find tunings that consumer headphones don't use that suit your music much better
