Fent in the d*** supply is so s***. I wish stuff like cocaine was illegal and you can get USDA Grade A 100% cocaine in controlled amounts there would be way less problems with d**** prolly

been preaching all d**** being legal for years and years.

im all about it. been a big part of my life raising awareness for it and stuff

Would majority of hip hop even benefit from tube amps. A lot of the music is kinda mixed like s*** and it wouldn’t do quality tubes justice

Tubes are actually great for music that wasn't recorded or mixed well, smooths out harsh edges and kinda presents everything in a warm blanket, wall-of-sound way, all while specific sounds and instruments kinda materialize and disappear in and out of it with this really cool "sparkle" effect

Of course, music that was recorded and mixed well are going to showcase those "3D" / "Liquid" effects more prominently

All of that to be said, I find that modern rap, for me personally, works best on a solid state or hybrid tube amp, but 90s/2000s hip-hop can really shine on a transformer-coupled tube or hybrid tube amp.

The funny thing about super high-end tube gear is that it oftentimes just ends up sounding like solid state. The character of tubes literally comes from their imperfections, which is what changes how they sound/present music.

Im so anti d*** like i never touch them but i think for the greater good they should be legal and invest in education and rehabilitation there would be no d*** dealers and less gang wars the only illegal d**** on the street would be krokodil type s***

Probably the most famous tube amp ever is called the Bottlehead Crack, for that very reason, and the essential mod is called The Speedball lol

yeah, like i enjoy them, but i think if somebody is purely anti d**** and wants the least amount of d*** use, with the safest outcomes for people who use them and communities affected, its a no brainer.

put he massive amount of money taken away from cartels and gangs into community building and healthcare. like idk its such an obvious solution that would help the majority of issues.

and more potent, dangerous things arise from prohibition anyway. the demand for like tranq, would fall if you could get better things for a reasonable price.

(although krokodil only as dangerous as it is because of it being made in illegal labs with contaminants, it was used in hospitals safely for years, something that wouldnt happen if it was legal. i aslo doubt people would seek it out, if they could get pure heroin instead)

  • Iceman is a very special album imo. It’s really rare we see a commercially successful rapper have an album that’s simultaneously strong lyrically, focused rapping, very listenable and catchy, limited features, and not trend hopping with the production. Like how many albums can we name like that?
