Yeah no doubt, I just can’t myself going consistently. I feel like every church muddies the message of christianity to a degree too
I agree with you
What if your wife went to church, would you go for her
Every though I’ve only recently felt religious I’ve always been super intrigued by them and loved reading s*** about them
Not like ol @Orangutan tho he’s like an autistic religion shaman

What have you read
What have you read
Stankie was gassing me up way too much
I’ve read a solid little handful of books on the early church, early heretical sects, and the constructions of the Old and New Testament
Also have a couple of nice academic Bibles with detailed translation breakdowns and study materials for each book
I dipped my toe in the water with the Quran and Bhagavad Gita, but just barely
It’s totally a hobby/personal journey thing, I never went to school for it and I’d consider myself a total novice
Cmon zuck

Do you think you should seek to understand your nature and learn how to control portions of it to grow
Or do you think you should seek to change your nature to get rid of the portions that could fuel your own dissatisfaction to grow

Here's a good question for your tripping @Tuneout
Here's a good question for your tripping @Tuneout
i think both is the answer
i also think part 2 is a lot harder to do. and you get to part 2 by doing part 1
i think both is the answer
It's hard for it to be both really
One is saying: you are who you are at your core. That cannot be fhanged. You should seek to understand who you are to the best of your ability so you can truly master it and control the bad habits that may come from it.
The other is saying: You can fundamentally overcome who you are to get rid of the bad habits entirely

ok, i think some things cant be changed and some things can.
you gotta change the things you can and for things you cant do option 1
