So many people calling 50 minute albums mid or fire within 30 minutes
Essentially and how she's a smart business woman and I was like IDGAF I never thought about her business acumen when I was listening to State Of Grace or Style
i was arguing with my mom because she thinks that taylor will end up releasing her wedding video as like a netflix special or something (bc shes so smart business woman)
i dont think she'd stoop that low
its only illegal if u get caught
So many people calling 50 minute albums mid or fire within 30 minutes
people run through an album once, skipping halfway through songs they arent feeling and just counting up how many they "save" and the rest theyll never listen again

Yeah if you don’t listen to an album all the way thru and live with it a little your “review” is kinda meaningless
I make sure to listen to an album in order at least three times
May never listen to it again but
I was totally off of taking critics seriously when p4k gave TLOP a 9 or something the morning it came out like you just breezed thru it and still a prisoner of the moment how can we even take your opinion seriously on the album atp
I know a discography as a concept is so warped in the modern day, especially relating to covid passion projects like her two indie (lol) albums
Like if we look at Folk/evermore as flukes/passioned side projects there's a pretty gradual decline from Rep -> Lover -> MIDNIGHTS
I never heard her last 2 but what I have heard (a lot. out in public. in videos) make me feel like I've made the right decision

3-5 listens is also what i go for. in my initial time listening to it at least
different types of music tend to take a bit more to sink in tho, maybe returning to it after a while for 3 more listens

They played a solid collection of songs from loas at the Chinese joint and my jaw dropped
Like wood, actually romantic totally live up to their reputations. NOT A GOOD THING!

Probably
Some music only not even really meant to be listened to. YG just admitted to making bad albums on purpose after Still Brazy

I think when the 1989 re-release came out and I didn't care
I knew i was done
Just found out im pregnant with poop
He said he was pissed off about his label situation and released albums as often as they allowed him he just made sure there was at least one hit and a street anthem or two for people to listen to then fill the album with whatever i heard that and was like “that’s exactly what i was hearing”
Just found out im pregnant with poop
ppreg
I also hate how #totallyunbothered Taylor is now lmfao @RVI
her vulnerability was her greatest strength and this bizarre shield she has makes her more inaccessible than ever

its hilarious how she just discarded all that re-recording gimmick
fan attitudes towards those were so crazy

she changed
she changed
it's interesting too because I would still never call her inpersonal perse
like you listen to a Taylor album you will know who she is at that point in time but idk
There's no like warmth to it which I thought RED and 89 had in spades
