I think most people are in your position, its not an excpetion its the rule you know.

I would when youre bored, think about what are you favourite things on earth to do. is it sue time, movies, music, games, bourbon, etc.

then figure out your priorities for a job. is more money more important to you than enjoying a job? do you mind overnights? do u mind moving? behind a desk, outdoors? stuff like that. and just get your number like 1 and 2 priorities.

and then combine your favourite things with your biggest priorities. without considering whether its accessible to you now.

then id ask like chatgpt and google around jobs with that criteria. if nothing comes up, make some more concessions, and rinse and repeat until you have a few options. then think about whether those options are accessible to you now, in 5 years etc.

its not about having a calling or anything, and having disposable income from a regular job, will help you find yours if you have one and that’s what u wanna do. whether for fun or money.

but you can atleast filter down to an acceptable range of jobs that are tailored to your priorities.
